 Part 3 Thurgood was a main attributing factor towards the victorious case of Brown vs. Board of Education he helped destroy legal segregation in public schools, this not only changed education in America for African-Americans but also granted opportunities and jobs that would have been later denied due to lack of education. Brown v.s Board of Education was a vital piece in ending racial segregation in America. The Black Lives Matter movement would be an echo of Thurgood's vision, he wanted to give African-Americans equal opportunity in which he believed and found ending segregation essential, the BLM movement wants to end police brutality and racially-based violence towards African-Americans both share the effort to end racial bias against African-Americans.  Part 2 As an African-American Thurgood has always been affected by racial injustice in America, and due to early exposure to the law and its practice from his father he always had a penchant for the art. Because of this, he went on to study the law facing racial prejudice and obstacles along the way he went on to become the first African American Supreme Court Justice winning 29 out of the 32 cases he argued against the court for Arcian-American Civil rights. This inspired the American Civil Rights movement. Thurgood was part of the NAACP working for them for a time before he went on to become a Justice before of which in 1940 he had founded the NAACP Legal Defense and Educational Fund (LFD) being the first civil and human rights law firm. He had won several cases pertaining towards the dissolution of Jim Crow Laws thus when Brown Vs. Thurgood Marshall

 Biography Thurgood Marshall was born July 2, 1908, his great grandfather was enslaved and both of his parents worked low-paying jobs, catering to others and teaching kindergarten. His father would visit the local courthouse after work and listen to cases later to repeat the lawyer's arguments to his sons. Thurgood was a student at Baltimore’s Colored High and Training school (later to be known as Frederick Douglas High School) being above average. After high school, he attended Lincoln University later applying to the University of Maryland Law school only to be rejected despite his over qualifications due to race. He would attend Howard University Law in Washington D.C and another well-known Black School. In 1934 Marshall started working at the Baltimore branch of the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People (NAACP).
